Its had a refurb recently, and it was much needed. Good value, but can get busy and a bit too boisterous with teenagers at the weekend.
Very nice swimming pool. Has leisure, baby and competition pools. Very fun to go with the family and would recommend.
my local pool, gets very busy and they should have time slots in the leisure pool so that it doesnt get too overcrowded. other than that its a fairly decent pool to go to and has different lanes in the competition pool to go in.
I've been to the pool couple of time, enjoyed it each time. Two separate pools (competition & leisure), with a small warm pool available for toddlers. A fitness center available at the top floor of the building, with some workout machines and weight machines. Staff is always happy to help you, and a personal trainer is available for the fitness center; the trainer will create a week-by-week plan for you, and help you achieve your goal. It can be a little expensive, if you decide to go for the fitness plan & the pools; you can pay just for the day if you want to swim from time to time. Separate plans available if you want just fitness/pool.
A traditional council pool crossed with Roman amphitheatre seating around the edge of the pool. Great for gladiatorial swimming competitions! And a play pool to warm up the little tigers!
