Stayed at Ipswich Travelodge. Never again will I set foot in a Travelodge.The room wasn't clean. The shower plug had some disgusting looking hair(?) covered in scum, the teaspoon had something crusty stuck in various places along the handle and the kettle was full of white crusty limescale.Inedible fried chicken, plastic paper to eat and disinterested, rude and dishonest staff and zero respect for DPA laws.
Had lots of problems as the person before it had wrecked the room they ran is on our way there to ask if we could change from an accessible room to a non accessible room as my husband is in a wheelchair we couldn't do this they offered is the room for free for that night and a free breakfast which seemed very generous we then didn't receive a refund for the room and instead I had to make several calls and was told they had changed their minds in the end after 2 months I did finally receive my refund they really shouldn't promise things they can't deliver the room itself was comfortable as any other Travelodge but I found their inconsistencies with their promises annoying and then ring me to see if I can change rooms when I clearly booked an accessible room and worry is that we wouldn't have anywhere to stay was on helpful
I was greeted by an amazing employee. She gave me the right advice and made me feel relaxed. The room was nice, and I slept comfortably. I needed to also use an iron, which was provided. So all in all, great experience!
Have used this Travelodge on a number of occasions as it always meets my standards. Rooms clean excellent beds. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities. Good to have adequate free parking. Used their restaurant for both dinner and breakfast as it offered good value for money.
