We only stayed the one night but found the room very comfy with a lovely bathroom as well. The breakfast was lovely too especially full english. We would definitely recommend.
I would like to share my appreciation on the service that Receptionist Marianna provided during my short stay. She was very friendly with her warm hearted approach when I asked her if it is possible to order something out of the restaurant working hours without hesitation she offered me a delicious mini-meal. As I told her I felt like my mom is around. Overall it is a small, historic hotel with a character and very friendly staff.Thanks,Burcu Gn
Lovely little placePros: clean and tidy, good food for breakfast, and comfy bed for a good nights sleep.Cons: abit small but not a huge con considering I stayed just the one night and don't need much space.Big con however is that the shower was far too small for me being taller than average I struggled to move around without hitting something with my elbows or head.And the windows didn't all open which made the room a little stuffy but that really is being picky. All in all I would say it was a nice stay but the lack of space was a little tricky at times.
Very good fine dining food. Good room for short stay, better rooms available if required. Pleasant helpful staff. Ideally situated just outside Ipswich but with easy access. Quiet, pleasant place to stay
The hotel is quaint and old fashioned, which is exactly what we were looking for. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had no complaints during the five days we stayed here. Oh, and be sure to have their Continental Breakfast. It is superb.
