Although John Lewis is still our go to place for food and homeware it's definitely gone downhill these days, I've complained about the Ipswich store before, for some reason lots of items were missing their prices, I've complained about this before, still the same today, a member of staff was chatting to a friend for the 20 minutes we were trying to get assistance, and when we went for a coffee lots of tables weren't cleared. We still love John Lewis but that love is increasingly stretched.
Went to exchange an item yesterday, very polite. Walked around the store and saw a kitchen table and chairs that we liked. The help that Mike and Jamie gave to us was second to none. We took the chairs (beautifully wrapped in bubble wrap) for us to take home and the table was ordered for us there and then. Will definately come from Colchester to shop here again. Thank you.
Store full of staff who weren't interested in helping . Prices in-store were way more than buying from online retailers .... The layout is at best haphazard and reminds me of a department store from the 70's...it was a busy store but the lines at the tills were short so that's good. In the end we didn't find what we were looking for despite me asking several staff members... Never mind I just won't go back soon if at all
Attractively laid out store with a good variety of products. Tend to highlight flashier to customer rather than the quieter but better quality items. Slightly more expensive than online overall, but do get 2 yr warranty on electricals. Online customer service not at all helpful tho.
Bought some nice gifts today but shopping would have been done much quicker if I didn't have to keep finding an assistant to find out prices. What had been reduced or not? Please make things clearer.
