This place has gone down hill since Mr Trueman left. You never knew who you would be seeing as apparently the dentists can come and go as they please as they are self employed, so no continuity of care. I have left and now go to a dentist who cares.
Rang for an Emergency Appointment and was asked to call the next day at 8:30 which I did and was seen that day at 12:45 (As an Emergency NHS patient) I had a short wait but the dentist was very caring and helpful and I am now registered as an NHS patient.
Got stuck in traffic, called and explained i might be a little bit late. Was told not to come and that i will be taken off the books. Shame, had been a patient for 16 years but since changing hands it's gone very downhill.
If I could give zero stars I would.. Been a long standing patient of this practice Lived in Ipswich all my life born in chantry raised in chantry. Cancelled two appointments because of unforseen circumstances. And got struck off!! Absolutely disgusting. No doubt there is plenty of non UK citizens happily being treated there at the taxpayers cost! Thank you for nothing Hawthorn drive surgery.
Just called as I had been referred for an emergency appointment by 111. I was barked at by Karina on the phone where she said "can I put you on hold?" After a few minutes on hold she then hung up. I called back and was met with the same aggressive tone, "are you a patient here?" I replied no, she then told me they were not taking nhs patients and to "find my own dentist". Worst customer service I've received in a long time. Thanks for your help Karina
