Shocking customer service! So initail 1st part of the phonecall is pleasant until I tell them I have 2 children off with sickness bugs and had to cancel there appointments which I may add is 6 hours later! Then the tone changes. Then I'm offered appointments during school hours without looking at alternative options, without looking at our personal diary's I can't commit then I get told to call back when I know! How about trying to find an appointment that works for everyone!Plus the last time I went, the dentist burnt my lip, in agony for weeks, with a burn that looks like a cold sore and a scar for life! Looking for a new dentist.
Took my daughter out of school for an orthodontist appointment; we were 8 mins late; reception told me my daughter could not be seen as they had already let next patient in; i asked well could we have their appointment "No; that's not possible...we live at least 25 miles away Not very flexible at all

Absolutely awful. We moved to this dentist following a recommendation and what a mistake it was! We had to wait 9 months for our first appointment after the first was cancelled due to staff sickness and the second short notice staff leave. During this time I had a broken tooth but they would not see me until I'd had my initial appointment. Luckily my previous dentist was kind enough to fix it. You have to wait ages for routine appointments and then you get a letter saying appt needs to be cancelled (as I did last week for appt in October). Today I phone them for 2 things 1) To rearrange my appt in October, to which I'm told my dentist has left and they cannot rebook until a replacement is found! 2) I have 2 broken teeth, 1 each lower side and today woke up with an abscess near one. I first thing to be told the dentist will triage (not in person) my symptoms and they'll get back to me. Four hours later no phone call! I phone them back to check. They casually check with the dentist who has the list and he tells them that he was waiting for a cancellation but hadn't had any. I ask the receptionist if I'll be seen today....she says no, I ask about tomorrow (Friday) she says no. I'll have to call first thing again to see if there are any cancellations but it's unlikely. So no emergency appt available and no routine either! It's absolutely disgusting and I'm now on a waiting list with another practice. It seems this one has too many patients, is constantly short staffed, has a worrying high turnover of staff, is poorly managed and offers poor customer service. My advice is stick with who you're with or find one that is tried and tested! I'm now suffering with a sore mouth and taking standard pain relief. This NHS service clearly stands for National Help-yourself Service!
My husband and I have been at the surgery for years my husband had a filling fall out a couple of weeks ago they see him the same day we are with Andrea she is lovely and thoughtful l had a lot of dental work last year with absolutely no complaints just saying
