We chose this hotel as a birthday treat and were not let down at all. The friendly service from all the staff we encountered was excellent and dining experience was exactly what we were looking forward to. We were very surprised and pleased with the quality of the champagne and chocolates awaiting us on arrival in our large and comfortable room. Thank you.

Christmas at Hintlesham was lovely. It was our second Christmas and I doubt it will be our last. Staff could not be more helpful, nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend Christmas at Hintlesham
Room Maypole. Large spacious room with a very comfortable bed and quality bed attire, Furnishings were within keeping with the period property. Bathroom Amazing power shower, Bathroom could have been better with shower cubicle but a minor point and personal preference.Breakfast and Dinner. Excellent breakfast with quality ingredients, Dinner was okay but in our opinion fell short in a few aspects Not as fine dining as hoped for.Hotel overall was well within keeping for the period and certainly does not need a modern feel.Certainly would recommend and would most definitely stay again on future visits to the area
For an anniversary night our clock room stay was atmospheric, so quiet, and comfortable we wished we could stay longer. Our evening meal was a pleasure to eat and the service exemplary. All staff were helpful, cheerful and pleasant. Your cleaning staff do a fantastic job. All those heavy picture frames looked painted that very day.
