We used Orwell Removals and Storage for our recent house move. We opted for their fully serviced package where they came and did all of our packing for us, including dismantling furniture as well as the removal. They were brilliant. Really friendly staff, always prompt, polite and helpful. We had got 3 quotes for our move from various local companies and Orwell came back the cheapest by quite a long way. In this case cheap didn't mean poor service, they took a lot of the stress out of moving and were great every step of the way.

Had a removal estimate done via a home visit, to be told, just let us know once completed which date you want. Called on a Friday (am) the response was THAT DATE IS AVALIBLE. Friday (pm) completion confirmed and called Orwell removal, no answer and no call back. On Monday we called Orwell and somebody hung up on us once they realised who we were. We then got a text message saying THAT DAY IS NO LONGER AVALIBLE. They were completely aware and clearly have no respect or care for the customer. I imagine this attitude is probably reflected across the board in their service. Money grabbing and no loyalty. (Post incident we have been told they dont provisionally book, they definitely made us believe we were) be careful.
Very efficient polite would not hesitate to use again
