So it's the first time I have been empire cinema I took my 2 children to watch how to train your dragon 3. The ticket machines where easy to use no massive ques. All staff where very polite. My daughter unfortunately jammed her finger in the door and when asking a member of staff for a cold press he immediately got the first aider who was so lovely and patient did a great job at bandaging and cleaning the wound the hospital where very impressed. I will sure b using empire again we didn't get to the end of the film when when my little girl has recovered we will be coming again so see you soon.
Very nice, newly refurbished building. A great cinema, nice and central to town, with parking in the car park underneath The Buttermarket. Excellent vicinity with restaurants and other entertainment in the same shopping centre.
I was really impressed with the recent renaissance of the Buttermarket and the new Empire is at its heart - it feels like a real event going here, capturing some of the movie magic from the past (particularly its brilliant artwork and movie poster displays, lighting and little adventure you go on to get to the screens). The screens themselves are small (but not too much) and cosy with sofas available - a real change from the typical multiplex.Lots of good food options downstairs for a family meal, plus a well stocked arcade and other activities.
Fast service to queue for tickets. Very comfortable seats and not too long of time of adverts before the film. Also nice and warm while watching the film.
This is a great cinema which caters for most people. Comfortable seats of various types and different viewing experiences. I contacted customer services recently and was touched by their friendly and caring response.
