A great venue for a half-day visit. Amazing mansion house with a genuine medieval feel, lots of wood carving and creaky stairs... Also a very good art gallery with temporary exhibitions well curated. Ask to see the small Constables. The park is great too.
Great History, Beautiful Building Inside and Out, Very Helpful Staff and extremely Cheap visit to fill a hour or so of your day.
Visited the kiss and tell exhibition which is currently inside the mansion. The exhibition is free and only available for a short period of time. It is worth a visit to see the sculptures up close and the amount of work that goes into producing the work in detail.
